Natalie is originally from Fife, Washington. In June of 2016, she graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. Since then, she has relocated to the Tri-Cities in eastern Washington to work for Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS); an environmental company focused on cleaning up the Hanford site. At WRPS she work for the Tank and Pipeline Integrity group, which is focused on conducting inspections of the tanks and engineering ways that we can help extend the lifetime of the tanks. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her bike, doing yoga, cooking, and watching Net ix. An important part of why she wanted to go into the STEM field is because of a mentor that she had in high school. This had a huge impact in her life, and through Thriving Elements she is able to give back and help other girls that are interested in the STEM eld.
