Anella is a senior research associate at Gilead Sciences where she conducts cancer biology research. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in French. She has over 9 years of experience working in the fields of cellular and molecular biology, specifically in HIV/AIDS and leukemia and lymphoma. She has been fortunate to have exceptional mentors throughout her academic and professional career, and is thrilled to give back by being a mentor to young women and men in the STEM field. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, playing and watching soccer, traveling and reading a good book.
