Math is rewarding in the sense that I feel accomplished when I finally begin to understand how to solve a certain type of problem and when I am able to correct my own mistakes. My favorite hobby is watching Korean dramas and reality shows. It may seem like a “non-educational” hobby but there is the benefit of passively learning the Korean language and more about the culture. In school, I take part in clubs such as National Honors Society, Asian Student Association, and the Future Business Leaders of America. These clubs have forced me out of my comfort zone and as a result allowed me to be more involved in school. I look forward to the Thriving Elements mentoring program and hope to build a strong network of mentors who can help me along the way on my journey to a successful future.
